Video and sound composition: Two 'ready-made' stuffed animals, tied together with a silk string, undergo the rinse cycle (Sköljningsprogrammet) of a washing machine. The work opens with Rachmaninoff’s Ave Maria and transitions into Sköljningsprogrammet, an original composition by William U. A. Mårdberg. Through this symbolic and tender process, the piece explores the fragility and resilience of monogamous relationships — a poetic reflection on care, repetition, and the quiet rituals we enact to preserve intimacy even under mechanical strain.
